Water and electricity are precious. In order to reduce the usage and achieve sustainability, you first must be able to track the usage.

 
Water Park Flow is a water and energy operations platform for water parks. It tracks every guest ride, forecasts water usage from local weather, checks municipal limits, and tells the operator each morning whether yesterday cost more than it should have. Water Park Flow is a multi park web application for water park owners and operators. The customer enters their rides, pumps, utility rates and water permits once. From then on the app collects weather every day, models expected water and electricity use, compares that against actual meter readings, and highlights problems. Reports for engineers and executives can be run on demand or scheduled and emailed as PDFs.

 

The design follows the sustainability approach. Carbon tracking toward a net zero target, a park scorecard, retrofit options such as variable frequency drives and activated play features, recycled water rate, annual impact reporting, and a documented methodology.

 

Water Park Flow tells a park operator, every morning, whether yesterday used more water or power than the weather and crowd justified, and warns them before a hot week breaks their permit. The app monitors, forecasts, flags and recommends. The value comes from comparing expected against actual. That needs a small amount of real data every day.

 

Every morning – Check Status Board
Yesterday’s water and electricity readings and attendance are entered or arrive automatically. Each park and ride shows green when actual matches expected and red when it does not, with a plain language reason: a likely leak, a pump running overnight, a backwash left on.

 

This Week – Look Ahead
The two week weather forecast is run against the municipal allocation. A heat wave that will push the park over its limit is flagged days early, with suggested actions such as reduced hours on the highest loss rides or a schedule change.

 

Each Month – Reconcile Costs
The utility bill is entered or uploaded. The application shows the month against the model, against last month and against the same month last year, and updates the scorecard, the carbon figure and the savings from any approved retrofit.

 

Each Season – Plan & Report
Permit renewals, capital requests for upgrades and the annual impact report all draw on a full year of actual data, which makes the payback case for any retrofit far stronger than estimates alone.
