Who It Is For

Water Park Flow is built for water park operators, facility managers, and sustainability leads who are accountable for utility costs, water quality and municipal compliance. It fits a single park or a portfolio, and it is designed to be read by the people who run the operation day to day, not only by engineers. Lifeguards and ride attendants get their own simple page for reporting problems, and inspectors get one document with every record they ask for.

How It Works

Usage data from meters and control systems feeds the dashboard continuously. Each ride and zone gets its own profile. Municipal restriction rules and water chemistry standards are entered once and checked automatically. The Looking Ahead module watches for patterns that do not match expected behaviour and raises them early, with the context needed to act. Every record is kept as it was entered, by whom and when, so the log stands up to an inspection.

Dashboard and Status Board

• One dashboard for every park in the company, each with a status board for Compliance, Efficiency and Problems, a green, amber or red level and a plain reason for each.
• Full park cards with the day’s weather from the forecast, water and electricity against the model, the scorecard grade, a 14 day water chart, the open alerts, and a Peak season marker when the park is in its busiest months.
• Month to date water, electricity, cost, carbon, recycled water and guests for every park and for the whole company, each against the same period last year.
• Sustainability Scorecard: an A to E grade per park on recycled water rate, water per guest, energy per guest, carbon per guest, permit compliance, water quality and equipment condition, with the trend on each.

Water and Energy Tracking

• Per ride and whole park tracking of fresh water, electricity, utility cost and carbon.
• A physical model that works out what each ride should have used from the weather, attendance, pump sizes and operating hours, so every reading is checked against what the day justified.
• Evaporation, splash out, backwash, rain gain and recycled water rate for every ride.
• Pump energy from rated power, load factor, variable speed drives and idle share, with peak demand and demand charges.
• Daily weather from Open Meteo with a year of history, or a synthetic climate model for offline use.
• Utility rates per park with tiers, demand limits and sewer charges, in the park’s own currency and units.

Alerts and Predictive Analysis

• Thirty six alert types covering leaks, pump wear, filter pressure, overnight running, suspect readings, permit and daily limit projections, demand limits, equipment age, water chemistry, test frequency, checklists, inspections, work orders, assets, backwash, chemical stock and spare parts.
• Advance warnings before a limit is crossed, not after.

• Each watch item carries the evidence figures, when it matters, a confidence level and what to do.
• A pump that is heading for the alarm line with no spare on the shelf and a lead time longer than the days left becomes an Act Now item. In peak season the spare has to land a week early.
• Peak season months per park. Six weeks before peak, critical spares below minimum, high priority ride work orders, inspections falling in peak and poor rated critical assets are gathered into one readiness item. During peak, a critical spare with a long lead time is red while one is still on the shelf, and an overdue ride work order goes red after a week.
• Bather load: a day ahead expected well above the park’s usual weekday or weekend crowd prompts a halved test interval and a secondary disinfection check.
• One click from any alert to a work order.

Compliance

• Municipal water permit tracking with daily and monthly limits, month to date use, the projected month end and the date the limit would be crossed.
• Water chemistry standards profile per park: CDC Model Aquatic Health Code, British Columbia Pool Regulation, Ontario Regulation 565, Nova Scotia Aquatic Guidelines or custom, with every limit editable.
• Water quality log for free and combined chlorine, bromine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid and water temperature per pool, checked against the profile as you save, with excursions, actions taken and test coverage.
• Regulatory compliance register for health inspections, ride permits and annual inspections (ASTM F770, CSA Z267), drain cover certification, backflow tests, generator tests, electrical and fire inspections, chemical storage, insurance and operator certification, with overdue and due soon alerts.
• Daily safety checklists: pre opening ride checks, closing round, plant room round, structural walk, safety equipment, generator test, wave machine and splash pad checks, kept with the person and the date. A failed item opens a work order.
• Crypto Response checklist on every park, following the CDC fecal incident response steps: closure, pH, hyperchlorination level and contact time, backwash, secondary disinfection check, reopening values and notification.
• Inspection Readiness Pack: one button builds a numbered PDF of every record an inspector asks for over a chosen period: the water chemistry log with excursions and actions, daily and periodic checks with who signed them, the backwash log, chemical deliveries and stock takes, UV and ozone systems, the compliance register, safety work orders and incident response records. It records who prepared it and when.
• Record locking: preparing a pack locks every water test, checklist run, backwash, chemical movement and work order inside the period. Locked entries cannot be changed or deleted, only annotated with a dated note kept alongside the original, so the log shows it was not tidied up after the fact.

Maintenance

• Work orders with priority, status, assignment, parts and labour cost, downtime and resolution.
• Asset register for pumps, drives, valves, panels, generators, lighting, HVAC, safety equipment, ride equipment and structures, with condition, warranty, expected life and inspection intervals.
• Corrosion environment on every asset (mild, damp, chemical, severe) that shortens its inspection interval, so a pump in chlorine vapour is looked at more often than one in a dry room. An overdue inspection on a critical asset in a harsh environment is red.
• Spare parts register with minimums, lead times, unit cost, storage location, the assets each part fits, deliveries, use, stock takes and write offs. Parts used on a work order come off stock and add their cost to the job.
• UV and ozone systems per pool with lamp life and hours, intensity, ozone residual and dose validation dates, with Reading, Lamp change and Validated actions and warnings when lamps near the end of life or a validation falls due.
• Filters and backwash log with differential pressure, water to waste and pressure based backwash alerts.
• Chemical inventory with deliveries, daily use, stock takes, days of stock and reorder alerts.
• Condition readings from pumps (vibration, bearing and motor temperature) and indoor humidity, with alarm zone alerts.
• Report a Problem: lifeguards, ride attendants and cleaners get one phone friendly page. Pick the ride or area, describe the problem, add a photo, mark it urgent, send. It lands in the maintenance queue as a work order with their name on it, and they can see when it is picked up and fixed. The park dashboard counts reports waiting.
